    At Von Beauty our aim is to be a force for positive change. In a world of disposable beauty, we want to empower people to make better choices by offering sustainable alternatives to single-use beauty products that won’t harm our planet. 

    As a growing business, we know we are not perfect but seek to reduce our environmental footprint in everything we do, from the raw materials used to make our products to the packaging they are shipped in, and the spaces we work in. Here are some of the ways in which we are doing this: 

Carbon Positive


  • We are Carbon Positive Certified, which essentially means we remove more greenhouse gas emissions that we produce. To achieve this, we’ve partnered with Earthly, an organisation that helps businesses offset their carbon footprint and support nature-based climate solutions. After offsetting our carbon footprint in full, we invested in three Earthly projects across the globe:

    • Mangrove Planting in Madagascar
    • Brazil Nut Concessions in Madre Dios
    • Mai Ndombe Rainforest Protection


    To date, we have removed 19.02t of carbon and have supported an area of 26,608 sq/m and planted 19 trees. To keep track of our progress, please visit our Earthly profile here.  

Our Product


    • We use biodegradable, 100% FSC-certified bamboo which is grown sustainably without chemical fertilizers for the vast majority of our products.

    • We use natural cotton, grown sustainably without pesticides. 

    • Our products are 95% plastic-free, except for our mascara wands which are made from nylon (Virgin PBT) as a suitable alternative does not yet exist. 

Our Packaging


    • We use minimal packaging and mostly plastic-free (except where required for health and safety reasons). Where it is used, we use compostable plastic. 

    • We use 100% recyclable and naturally biodegradable kraft paper 

    • We use minimal ink and only environmentally friendly ink.
